The Nike Sonic Flight in yellow/black/GP edition
I usually don't like Nike (especially Air Jordan) shoes that appear as if they have been morphed from 2-5 different shoes. I think that doing so will usually change the shoe from a performance basketball shoe to a "style" shoe. This model of Nike has recently been released in around 5 different color combination. I liked 3 of the color ways immediately and purchased them at retail, or at first markdown from a well known online sports shoe/clothing/equipment retailer. Even as the prices dropped I was not disappointed as I know that they would either be worn gladly, or the prices would recover. When I saw the yellow/black/fun police/GP...I thought this had the most appeal. I would enjoy wearing these the most, or hold for collection. I have always had an affinity to gold shoes...as far back as the Adidas "Mexicana" (pre 1972)...this shoe was the gold suede (I believe the leather they used back then on the blue "Gazelle" and the gold suede/black trim "Mexicana" was kangaroo leather. Of course that would not be used in today's "save the world" beliefs. Wrapping it up, I believe the morphing aspects of a few Nike/Jordan Brand shoes into the Sonic Flight is a prime example of a well done design.

Better than Under Armour, Nike and Adidas!
My son has Severs disease and the gel support and elevation in the heel made this shoe far more comfortable than the Nike, Under Armour and Adidas that we tried on at Dicks Sporting Goods. This shoe provided more support overall then any other shoe we tried on. I would recommend this shoe for any athlete that wants comfort and support.
