A good New Balance shoe

The 940's are a good shoe for me, but the 990's and 1540's are better. I am a senior fitness walker and prefer to have more support and substance than the 940's give. I am not sure if they will be as durable as the 990's or 1540's. Still at this price point, I feel quite satisfied with this purchase.

New Balance Running Shoes are excellent shoes for the price.

I have purchased and worn several pairs of NB running shoes in my size, 11B. They have always fit the same and are always made well. I use this type of shoe because it is light and flexible and is very easy on my old, arthritic feet. I am a senior who is still active. I work out 3 times per week and play golf as much as I can. I highly recommend these shoes.

My 1st New Balance shoe in many years

I hadn't worn New Balance shoes since i was in my mid teens...its been probably a decade and a half now. I remember them being pretty high quality shoes. These are nice shoes and they are built pretty well, but are definitely not the New Balance quality of back when....but then again, quality of everything has plummeted. Do I think they are worth the price? Yes, I do. Would I buy them again? Possibly. I have worn And1 and Ozark Trail shoes (both from walmart) for years because i destroy shoes quick and dont like paying good money for shoes. I will probably rarely wear these NB's, but i will come back in the future and update how they are holding up. And oh yeah. I ordered size 11 and they were pretty much spot on with the fit.

New Balance lose fitting

First off I have worn New Balance shoes for at least 20 years. I love the confort and how they hold up! But.... On this pair. The shoe laces suck! Had to replace the laces with a better pair. The laces that they came with are very thin and if you happen to get a knot in them, it's next to impossible to get it out. Yes that's a small thing. But leaves me asking why New Balance couldn't have givin a better set to start out with. The new laces did improve the fit and feel. As for fit! Like I said, I have been wearing New Balance shoes for years now. I always get them in a 10 4E. But for some reason this set seem wider than usual. And seem to fit loser than any other pair I had bought in the past. Not a deal braker in my mind, but just something I thought you may want to know before buying.

New Balance M1540

So like many have mentioned, I went to order a new pair of 1123's and found out they were discontinued. The 1540 looked like the successor and more expensive. After wearing them for a month now here is my take on them. Pro's -great motion control -fit is different but good -well made and comfortable Con's -front of shoe is a little more narrow so watch toes -size seems slightly smaller -expensive I've had plantar fasciatis in the past so I spend a little more on shoes than I used to. To me its worth not having that pain. Also these shoes are smaller. I accidentally ordered a bigger size but it worked out perfectly fitting me. I wear 11 1/2" but ordered size 12" not thinking. If I hadnt I dont think these shoes would fit me. I also ordered insoles and its worked out great. My feet are so happy.

New Balance Men's M750 Athletic Running Shoe

I have run in these for a week and they are very comfortable, they fit my D size feet perfectly. They absorb quite a bit of shock during my 5k and 5 mile runs; after almost 1 month of running my legs still feel great! I am very happy with the shoes!
