True to size, great fit

Bought these Nike Air Max 1 Obsidian about a month ago. Nice shoes overall but they run about half a size narrow. I have slightly wide feet and had to go up half a size from my usual. Bought these Nike Air Max 1 Obsidian about a month ago. I was hesitant about the price at first but after wearing them daily for a month, totally worth it. The cushioning hasn't compressed, the outsole shows minimal wear, and the leather has developed a nice patina. They're versatile enough for casual outings and weekend activities. The swoosh placement and proportions are just right - not too big, not too subtle.

Ordered my normal size, perfect fit right away. No break-in needed.

Got the Nike Air Max 1 Obsidian and they've exceeded expectations. I've bought two pairs in the same size and they fit differently. One pair is snug, the other has extra room in the toe box. Quality control seems to have slipped. The leather also started peeling at the flex points after about 6 weeks of daily wear. For the price, I expected much better durability. Disappointed.
