Awesome Shoe

I really like the toe ramp. I ran much faster with these the first day out. I'm an Altra convert for sure! I've battled with Plantar for a while, and since switching to Altra from Nike, no more pain.

Hip and comfortable!

Bought these Originals for my son along with the Classic. He tried both pairs on and actually prefer the Classic better for the soles are slightly thicker and the front of the shoes are slightly squarer and sturdier (he did the Michael Jackson tippy toe stand) as compared to these Originals EXCEPT the Classic's tongue are long and poked onto the front of his ankles. It bothered him, so he chose these Originals. I wrote a review on the Classics if you want to check it out. These shoes are great; comfortable, sporty yet hip and current. He wears them for band performance, for going out (non-school) and for the opera and symphony events. Paired with a pair of dark slim jeans, a crisp white shirt and a dark blazer, he looks casual hip/smart and not stuffy. As for the arch support, he always wears his Superfeet, so it's not an issue.At the moment, the Classics are slightly cheaper, but I had to return them. I like these Adidas styling so much I bought a pair of the Men Samba Leather for my husband!

I wear 10.5 in Nike Running shoes. I had to get a 11.5 in the shoes. They definitely run small and a shade bit narrow. Once I had the right size - they are very comfy. Also they are BRIGHT GREEN! =)I am 6' 172lbs.

I've been running for a long time. I have owned New Balance, Nike, and Adidas shoes. By far, I prefer adidas, so that is what I have put my last 250 miles on. My older shoe had seen better days, so I figured it was time for a new shoe since I had a half marathon coming up in a few days. Went to an outlet, bought this shoe, and it has been a dream ever since. I love the mesh that this shoe is made up of, which keeps the shoe from becoming cumbersome in longer runs. Also, the Adiprene sole that is in the shoe is great as a form fitting material. Buying my second pair, because these shoes are just that good and reliable.Also, as a long distance runner, I usually expect wear and tear on shoes to start showing fairly quickly. These shoes have held up great and they are nearing 75 miles.

I adore these shoes for all my running!

I'm a bigger female competitor (I usually shoot for Clydesdale/Athena because of my build), I'm not a fast runner, and I tend to underpronate (turn to the outside) when there's an extra boost in the shoes for stability. Not so with these shoes! I love the fit, the cushioning and the arch support that doesn't affect my pronation. So much so I use them for all my running, not just trail! I found most women's shoes are too small (many don't go over a size 11, which is too small to allow for expansion when I run) and too tight - like we all have narrow feet! I've used Nike, Asics, Brooks... I'm sticking with Saucony!

Very Impressed!

Wow! I am very impressed how these shoes feel. Granted every shoe fits different for everyone but these are the most comfortable shoe I have put on in a very long time. They are more comfortable than the $200 Nike Free 5.0. I have worn Adidas all my life as a soccer player so perhaps my arch is more use to Adidas so they feel better than Nike. Lastly, they are very light running shoe, which helps at the end of a run. My 2 cents.
