Classic Design And Comfort

They're a little pricey for what they are, but Nike gets away with it because you're buying a "vintage" design. The look and style of the shoe tastefully brings the 80's back, and the thick sole is very supportive and comfortable. Not too firm, and not too squishy; as Goldilocks would say, just right.

great all-around gym shoe

These are my general workout shoes, and I love them. I replaced the laces with white ones, which I think look much better. Other than that, I don't have much to say...they're quite light, they look good, and they match all my black shorts and red shirts!I tried 4 different kinds of Nike shoe, and this was the clear winner.

Great shoe for what they cost

I typically wear Nike and Asics but wanted something that I didn't mind wearing when it's rainy outside. These fit the bill. Super cheap, comfortable, and pretty attractive. I deducted one star for some slight fraying around the edges of the stitching but all in all a great shoe for the price.

On a scale of 1-10, it's a win!!

Just got these today and they are definitely a snug fit. I'm a size 8US in sneakers (Adidas, Nike) and a 7US for boots like my steel toe Timberlands.As far as arch support goes, I'll need more time to see how my feet will feel, but currently it is alright....nothing to take a star off for (I'll just swap the insoles if push comes to shove).So if you're on the fence about how these will fit you, JUST.....DO IT!!

I LOVE these shoes!!! I have to wear black shoes at work and the shoes I've been wearing (Nike Huaraches) had no support at all. My back was hurting everyday! Perfect minimalist running shoe

Buying second pair - have put at least 500km on my current pair. These quite simply are the most comfortable minimalist shoes I’ve ever ran in. Dramatically improved my running experience.

I was a heavy heel striker, so always went for Nike running shoes with heavy cushioning costing around $110 or more. These Saucony only cost $34. The Nike heels always wore out on the outer rear side within 2-3 months, even though I jogged at most 10-12 miles per week - at the very most!Recently surfed the net about correct running posture, foot impact, etc, also saw youtube videos on chi running. So, decided to ditch cushioning ad change my running form/posture. Seems counter-intuitive, but ditching the heel-cushioning has made my running way more comfortable and enjoyable. I now love running, feels like my body is a completely different running machine - even on concrete sidewalks. I did pick up a pair of $10 runner's insoles (forget which make) at a drug store, so I've got a little extra cushioning for the mid-sole region, but, after 3 months, these Sauconys are still as good as new. They're also very comfortable for walking.
