Stick it to Nike!!!

I love asics, they are a really good shoe company - very rare you get a dud! Plus hey, they look awesome and seem to last about 2 to 3 times of a nike. Nike has only made a few functional, durable shoes and of course they get rid of them. Asics just adapts and gets better.

Overall great shoes for their price.

I bought these shoes so I could do the BeachBody Insanity videos. They're probably the best fitting shoes i've worn, period. Specially since they're wider at the front than your average basketball shoes. I don't know much about basketball shoes tho, I only bought some Nike Mamba 3's or something and had to return them because I found them uncomfortable. But for training I feel I could't have gotten avything better at this price point.

So far so good

Since I'm too lazy to run, I walk daily (6-7 times a week) about 2.5 miles. During the past few years I've worn out Nikes and in recent months tried out couple pair of Adidas and Pumas and a pair of Under Armour but none were good for one reason or another. After some research, excluding Nike that I no longer care to patronize, I ordered this pair of Pumas and a pair of Adidas. Both had very good reviews by credible sources. After trying on both I went with these and have worn while walking the past couple weeks. They've been very comfortable and supportive and appear to be wearing very well even with the daily 2.5 miles on pavement. Actually I've noticed some discomfort on a few walks but believe it was due to lacing a little too tightly. Bottom line, I've pleased enough and think with continued wear these shoes and my feet will acclimate. I'd go 4-to-5 star if possible but rounding up optimistically.

Best I've ever worn

These shoes are so lightweight and comfortable that I even use them for jogging sometimes. I used to get ankle problems with heavier, harder Nike and Adidas shoes but this shoe made all that pain go away. They have good traction and great support. The only downsides are that the white versions get dirty easily and the soles tend to get pretty worn out after 3-4 months of frequent play. Nonetheless, I would definitely recommend this tennis shoe.

Great for coffee runs, not marathons

I love these shoes. They're a little longer than typical for my size but comfortable nonetheless and they look great. I need a wide shoe, which limits my options. I also have a high bridge (top of foot) so I can't fit into chucks or vans (and I don't prefer the look of running shoes when I'm bumming around in jeans). These fit perfectly. Having said that, they're probably not the best for running or basketball. They're sturdier and more comfortable than Chuck Taylors but they're not high-end runners or Nike air-whatevers. I may grab a second pair in a different color.

Awesome sleeves!

The Nike Elite sleeves are by far the best my son has ever used. While his teammates struggle with their shin guards falling or moving, my son's stay in place the entire game.
