Interesting take on exercise shoes - less lateral support than my preferred Nikes

My plan for 2021 was to go to the gym more. The goal for the year is BP reduction, energy increase and weight control. I went to the local sneaker shop and found a really comfortable pair of running shoes - haven't thought about jogging for years since a knee injury made that too painful. After several try-on sessions, I found a perfect-for-me shoe and have used them for months. However, I like to have a second pair of exercise shoes in the house so that I can wear one while the other dries out (shoe experts, so I have read, recommend this, especially for your really expensive leather dress shoes - makes them last longer). Since gym shoes live in an easy on the bottom of the shoe environment (meaning they aren't pounding the pavement) and are really expensive, getting added life is right where I like to live! I have been alternating these with my Nikes since I got them and the difference is clearly felt on my feet. These are a little short (I have worn 11 1/2 since puberty) and these would have been a little more comfortable in the toe end if they were size 12. I have been using MD prescribed heel inserts for heel spurs for decades and these fit nicely in the generous inside and add to the comfort. However, the lateral support is a less than I have in the Nikes I alternate to. I suspect that this isn't the shoe's fault - read on. My feet are wide (my fire calls them boats) but in the shoe world, they are not not super wide so that probably is responsible for the lateral support differences - again, not the shoe's fault. Overall, these are comfortable, useful for the purpose I selected them for and I'll wear them with thicker athletic socks. Job done! Overall, recommended for wearers with clear wide shoe needs - others should consider a different design.

Better construction than Nike, much much better

I’ve been wearing 11D for quite a few years now, I decided to try the 11E which is the wide size, so glad I did they are so comfortable in the wider size, I guess I just didn’t realize my feet had gotten wider. Perfect fit and the cushioned soles are great. New Balance is my new go to shoes for me. No more Nikes for me.

Super cute and super comfy. I wear a 9 in most nikes, had to return and get an 8.5 in these. Great arch support! The tongue is fixed which is nice too, it doesn’t slide around.

Nike Tanjun clones, but lighter weight

I have only worn these briefly, but these are lightweight virtual clones of Nike Tanjun, down to the sole pattern but without the brand logo. The Nikes fit great, but the soles wear too fast for my taste. I'm starting with 5 stars for these, but expect to be back here to report on how well they fit and wear.

Better than Nike?

I bought these for my 11 year old for gym so that he didn’t ruin the LeBrons we bought him for school this year. After one day of wearing these, he prefers to wear these everyday over his Nikes. He says they’re far more comfortable. Works for me!

Nike has nothing over these shoes!

I use these shoes for every day wear and they are very comfortable and breathable. They seem to hold up to normal wear and tear very well! Bought 2 more pair! I even ride a motorcycle every day and no wear marks from shifter! Great shoes and the price can’t be beat. Nike has nothing on these shoes! If you are a runner, you won’t be disappointed!

The best Comfortable shoes ever in the world (better than nike roshe 2)

I am going to upgrade my rating from 4* to 5*. It actually feels quite awesome after using this shoes for couple of months. The quality is just tooooo good and may I say I returned two other shoes after getting used to this shoes because these shoes are so light weight and fit slightly loose on the toe side but they are way way more comfortable and once you get used to this there is no turning back.

this is awesome i wore NIKE Rosherun slip on before this, and i like this better. NIKE was also very light and comfortable, but this is just as comfortable and light but little better because it has memoy foam cushion inside in skechers when NIKE don't the price is also almost half of what the NIKE cost on amazon right now so this doesn't go wrong, but only with the sizing, compared to nike's 9 1/2, i get the same loose fit with 10 in skechers hope this helped for future buyers. just bought crocs for smiliar purpose and hope it would be as comfortable
