Great looking, comfortable walking/hiking shoesfrom New Balance....wonderful for winter wear.

I love these shoes. However, I ordered the size that I was given by a New Balance shoe store employee who measured me 4E and I believe that I should have been told 2E which is what I have worn in other New Balance shoes. The shoes were a little too wide for me. So, I bought a pair of Dr. Scholl's gel inserts and now the shoes fit perfectly and are even more comfortable.

New Balance Best Bet For Wide Feet

I have found New Balance sports shoes to be the best for wide feet. If you wear E to 4E, these from New Balance of probably the most comfortable you can get. The only sports shoes/sneakers that I would compare to these are called "Blokes" from England that are unaffordable unless you can get them from someone on the bargain website.

With these shoes my feet don't hurt. Like with new balance. The only thing wrong with these shoes they are not slip-resistance on wet tile floor.

Good looking shoe/boot, true to size except width. I have 2E boots that are wider than these 4E's. With a thin pair of socks they fit well and are comfortable. Any more narrow and I couldn't wear them.

New Balance Men's MCR6630G Cloud Mid Cut Boot

Great boots! Very comfortable with a short "break-in" period of about a week or so. Once your feet mold to the bottom of the boots, they are extremely comfortable. I liked them so much, I bought a second pair! Regarding fit, they are just a tad narrow, I have narrow feet, and they were snug on me but after wearing them for a couple weeks, it's a non-issue. Just make sure you lace them up snugly (not too tightly), because if you don't, they will not be comfortable anymore! Construction, and quality seems to be excellent. No rubber seams coming apart. What I really like is the design of the soles! You'll get plenty of traction with these boots! I use these outside, in the snow on a daily basis to haul firewood in Michigan. I haven't fallen, yet! The price point is a bit high, but they seem well-constructed, and did go on sale before the holidays. Overall, excellent value for the money, in my opinion.

Unlike New Balance, these Dunhams fit well.

Unlike most of the recent posts re New Balance shoes, these Dunham Clouds do fit as they should. I just wish New Balance would go back to their old production techniques or suppliers!

New Balance now a legit option for hiking boots!

I received a pair of these as a gift and to be honest I didn't expect much from them at all. I have been a die hard Asolo user for over 20 years so even the idea of using another brand took some getting used too however I can now safely say that New Balance is now a legitimate option for people looking for a quality hiking boot. One of the best things about these boots is the relatively short time it took to break them in. It usually takes about twice as long for me to comfortably break in a pair of Asolo's. These boots are easily on par with other quality boots in the 150-200 dollar range. Vibram outsole, Gore Tex membrane, removable insoles, etc.. Overall I was quite blown away, not necessarily because this is such an outstanding boot, which it is, but more because I just didn't think of New Balance as a serious contender for quality hiking boots. Then again I now realize that this isn't the same old New Balance that I grew up with. They are now making a lot more than just sneakers and tennis shoes. A quick glance at their overall line of products reveals a serious effort by New Balance to establish themselves in the performance Walking/Hiking category. They are even making some quality water shoes now as well and in all honesty its nice to see a company like New Balance try and make some inroads into these categories of production after all more competition simply leads to better shoes and better prices for the masses. I now see that Backpacker magazine has awarded these with an editors choice award for 2009 and I couldn't possibly agree more. I took these on a week long trip in the Rockies and we got slammed with rain almost every day we were there and these boots never let my feet get even slightly wet. They performed flawlessly on that trip. Last but not least you have the boots appearance and I for one absolutely love the way they look. I am not one for the bold and crazy designs that seem to be on 90% of today's footwear. I like nice cl

Very happy with Dunham boot by New Balance

I have had these boots for about 3 months. This boot fits great. 14EEEE. Fits same as New Balance sneakers. I can cinch these up nice and snug and then after 10 hours in them I can still last longer if needed. I am really pleased with these. I am going to look for the low cut "summer" version of these.
