We love Asics!
My husband needed a new pair of walking shoes and Asics are his favorite. He normally wears a 10M, but they were a little snug. We returned them for the 10E....perfect fit.
Switched over from Asics
I'm 45 years old, 5'9" 175 lbs and have square feet with relatively low arches. I have been running off and on for about 15 years anywhere up to about 35 miles/week. I've always run in Asics and have loved them for 4 marathons and several 5 and 10k races. However, the prices are getting out of hand and I went on a search for a new shoe to try. I stumbled upon the Brooks 5 and boy am I glad I did. These shoes felt a little strange out of the box. I'm sure that was because I've worn nothing but Asics for 15 years, but I got used to them very quickly and I absolutely love them. They are very light and I find the cushioning to be perfect....not too soft/squishy (like the Asics Gel Nimbus can be) and they are firmer in the mid/forefoot for better feel and pushoff. At $60, these are a no-brainer and I'm about to buy 2 or 3 more pairs so I can rotate and have them for as long as possible.

Switched from Asics Nimbus to NB 1080v9
Writing a review for everyone who might be considering a switch from Asics Nimbus line to NB 1080v9 line. In short, I've been a Nimbus user for the last 3 years (3 pairs of 17s, 3 pairs of 18s). After reading fairly negative reviews of 19s through 20s, I decided might be time to try another line, as I could be missing out on more innovative tech. Full disclosure, 6' tall 210 lbs, so I need cushion but also like a responsive shoe for speed when I want it. Avg 20 miles a week.<br /> The switch to NB 1080v9 has been terrific. Couldn't be happier, great cushion and response. A much more comfortable shoe for me than the Nimbus, albeit I have loved the Nimbus for the past 3 years. This is my new standard. Further info, I wore a 12 in Nimbus and now wear a 11.5 W in NB 1080v9.

This is my third pair of the exact shoe all different colors. This is the best all around running shoe that Asics has ever produced in my opinion. Can't wait to see what the replacement is like.

Great Value from ASICS
Tremendous cushion and comfort. Not as much lateral support as some may want. Great color scheme. Excellent value. Probably not a hard core runners shoe, but great cross-trainer.
love my Asics Gel-Kayano 26 (4E)
I've tried them all as my foot is wide and hard to fit. These fit perfectly. Just wish there was more color option in 4E, extra wide!

ASICS really have great shoes.<br />Style and function they wear well last longer then nikes, soft ride good support .

These asics are awesome this is my first pair afer being reccomended to me by my Foot doctor.<br />great fit and the neoprene ankle collar works well to fit in my ankle braces. For me a perfect running sneaker.
