I started wearing Nike Air shoes ever since I had a heel spur many years ago, I tried every shoe on and Nike was the only one that didn't hurt to walk.
I like them and they are not Nike which suits me fine.
I wanted a pair of shoes that I could rely on to be comfortable for walking and that would wear well. I like leather athletic shoes and the Nikes that I had worn for decades just didn't suit me any more. I wear 15 wide and these fit the bill for the change.
