They are Nike's - almost never fail.

It fit's as expected, considering it's a first sneaker (is that still a used word) I've bought before trying on first. It has a unique look style (mesh). It's black/black or black/grey? Either way, the dark color works for me.

My husband is a left below-knee amputee who wears a prothesis so footwear is extremely important for him in terms of comfort, fit, and safety. Because his weight isn't evenly distributed with his leg weighing much more than his prosthesis, it's extremely difficult for him to find shoes that are comfortable. He has been wearing these 608 Nike sneakers for over a decade. They fit him extremely well and because they are athletic shoes, they have good traction and don't slip. My husband has been wearing these sneakers for so long that I worry one day I won't be able to find them anymore. Thankfully, I can always find them on Amazon.

Nothing Quite Like a Nike Product!

Bought these to replace a pair of Skechers, whose soles had already worn out after only a year. These shoes are soooo comfortable and just look at 'em. There's nothing quite like that classic Nike swoosh. These are some REALLY nice shoes.. go out and buy a pair today people!!

These are the Nike's i was looking for to replace my worn out Court lite two's and of coarse the Court Lite first ones i like better but i can't find those but these are nice and for the price i already ordered another pair to tuck away in the box for when these get worn out,i should have done that with the first Court Lite's but i didn't know they would get discontinued but oh well.

Significant balance improvement over nike trainers, they do look a bit silly though.

I was having issues squatting all the way to parallel with my old nike trainers, and when these came in, I noticed improvement immediately. The sole is very stiff and wide based (would probably be terrible for running in), and they feel/look a bit like skateboarding shoes. The heel is not as elevated as I was expecting, but it is elevated enough to get me parallel on a low bar squat, and not too high that it negatively affects my deadlift.<br /><br />That being said, these are special purpose shoes and look absolutely ridiculous outside of the gym. They look a bit ridiculous inside the gym too, to the casual observer who doesn't know the special purpose of the shoes. These are not built for style and people often look around for the closest short bus when they see you waddle in with your overly wide, Velcro strap shoes.<br /><br />For the money, definitely recommended. After 3-4 months of 3x/week use, they show virtually no signs of wear on either the sole or the upper, and no signs of separation anywhere. I have a feeling it will be my desire for another less goofy looking pair that is the reason I buy a new pair, not because these give out anytime soon.
