Wife says better than her Nikes and $100 cheaper!

Bought a pair for my wife to wear at work and compare to the Nikes she had only bought for work shoes. After a week of wearing, she wants several more pairs in different colors! A mom of four, we can afford 4 pairs of these instead of only one pair of Nikes! She totally loves them! She says that they are way more comfortable and lighter and her feet don't hurt after working all day in them! We'll see how they wear but so far she loves them!

Comfortable sneaker, very difficult to get on, you have to use the heel ring to get your foot in the shoe. I’ve had mine for a few weeks now and they are sliding on a little better

Cute color for Nikes

Glad to find these in a wide and they fit great! (regular Nike’s are usually too narrow for me) I like the gray/light blue color combo. A good price too.

Finally a pair of NIKEs worth their price.

Yes this review is for the Converse Chuck Taylor low versions. If you didn't know already, NIKE owns the Converse Brand, so in essence these are really NIKE Chuck Taylors. The quality feels about the same as I've remembered so I don't think NIKE made too many changes. These are Classic shoes that will never die in terms of style. If you have WHITE ones they mark up very easily, and the White Caps and soles get scuffed up easily as well. Still some of us wear them for those worn characteristics, so to each is own. The price is great, so you can buy a several pairs of these in different colors instead of wasting your $$$ on the parent company's overpriced kicks. They are comfortable for all day wear.

Way Better Than Nike

I will NEVER again pay premium prices for products just because they happen to have a famous name. I made that mistake with both iPhone and Nike shoes, just to disappointed by their performances when compared with competitors. But I have to give both of these companies credit for their marketing efforts. Even when you know your product is inferior, nothing like subliminal marketing campaigns to convince the masses otherwise, but I digress.<br /><br />Compared to anything I have ever had from Nike, these shoes are far superior in looks, comfort, performance and longevity. As a matter of fact, both the Brooks and Asics brands put Nike to shame. All day on my feet in the Brooks and no leg or back pain at the end of the day like I had with Nike. I can't believe I have for all these years been paying 2x-3x more money for a name. Never again. I am super happy with this brand and will never look back. Great job Brooks !!!!

I hate buying Nike sneakers at retail

first finding a style I like then a size. More often than not I leave frustrated without. I figured I try this route and could not be happier. They fit great, wore them all day long the first day (you can do that with Nike) and lots of folks commented on them.

Awesome colored Nike Cortez

Despite this size being a little loose (which is unusual for Nike Cortez which typically fit snug), the color of these sneakers is AMAZING!!! Quite the conversation piece since the color is unusual. Great buy!!!
